Bow Ties and Big Apples

156 days since I last checked in. By this point, Robert Carlyle would've eaten everybody and be running the White House by now... Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year! I've just returned from an outstanding trip to NYC and visited more sites in 6days than I thought humanly possible. Amongst the celebrations, I did find myself lost in the Meat Packing District one night on the look out for a particularly lovely restaurant, needed directions so turned to ask the scruffy looking chap in front of me at the traffic lights and thank my Moneyballs, it was Philip Seymour Hoffman. Almost wet myself, I kid you not. But this is one of many brilliant memories which made this trip great, not to mention re-enacting almost every scene from Home Alone 2 I could muster. However, it's back to London and I'm already working on the new season of Planet of the Apps which is set to be the most absurd and out of context yet. I've also begun filming a few features for The Blurb now being broadcast every Monday on Challenge TV, UK. Ginx is continuously evolving, watch this space. In other news, Planet of the Apps is now Live in Singapore and in December I was cast to the Far East to report from the Licence2Play gaming showcase at the Marina Bay Exhibition Center. The country was phenomenal - more humid than a microwave cooking a jacket potato, but lovely, as we rubbed shoulders with the thousands of gamers into WOW, Starcraft, World of Tanks and the like. Wargaming.net courteously took us to the Altitude Bar, 282m above the city for an exclusive after-party which on a personal note, was a huge highlight. A beautiful city with a huuuuuge community of online gamers who enjoy their FIFA...I'll certainly be going back. Loads of other events have been taking place in the meantime, including a night of Aliens: Colonial Marinesing being chased by xenomorphs around a abandoned warehouse and the exclusive launch party for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Playing the game, interviewing celebs and wearing a bow tie; find the pic above taken whilst I attempted my most Bond-like pose...which on second thoughts has absolutely no business being at a COD event. Nevertheless, see which celebs I caught up with right here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-NRNL_6h1Y Say hello on twitter @imadamsavage @PlappsGinxTV or check out ginx.tv for all of the latest.
